The place next to this Mexican diner institution gets a lot of credit for dollar taco night. But my money will always be better spent at The Talpa. Nothing fancy just good old fashioned rib sticking Mexican food. You can taste the roasted peppers in the salsa and the tomatoless guacamole is exactly how guacamole should be. But the real treat here is the flan. I have not had better anywhere else. Creamy with a slight cheese texture and not eggy at all. Delishhhhhhuh!
